Gold prices in Egyptian markets saw yet another surge on Sunday.

The General Division for Gold and Jewelry announced the latest trading prices in goldsmith shops (excluding making charges and stamping fees), noting that actual market prices may vary slightly across governorates.

The price of 24-karat gold reached approximately LE 6,857.
21-karat gold price
The price of 21-karat gold recorded around LE 6,000.
18-karat gold price
The price of 18-karat gold held steady at LE5,142.
Gold pound price
The price of the gold pound rose to approximately LE 48,000.
Global gold price
The price of the gold ounce settled at $4,053.
