The president of Turkish membership Beşiktaş, Serdal Adalı, showed that negotiations with Egyptian soccer superstar Mohamed Salah, the previous Liverpool winger, are nonetheless ongoing.
He added: “Nothing has been decided yet regarding signing Salah. After media reports indicated the deal was complete, the player’s agents changed the figures, trying to inflate them to astronomical levels.”
Adalı endured: “We didn’t accept that, and our negotiations are ongoing. We love Salah and agree with him on everything, but everyone should know that our priority is Besiktas’s best interests. We are moving forward in that direction. Our fans can rest assured.”
Mohamed Salah’s agent, Rami Abbas, stirred up controversy after writing on his professional X account: “We still don’t know where Mohamed will play next season, but we may find out very soon.”
He added: “It’s not our style to hold discussions with clubs Mohamed doesn’t want to play for, just for the sake of creating a buzz.”
